Beautiful Wensleydale wool in a top
Felting with a thin layer of this exclusive wool produces particularly transparent felts with an extremely attractive, lively surface. These felts are very suitable for wall objects, light objects, curtains etc. Worsted wool is a smooth, long-fibre wool. Several work steps are necessary for their production. First the raw wool is carded. The fibers are loosened, oriented largely in parallel and impurities are combed out. Fleeces are created that are divided into strands. These strands with approx. 20 g/per meter are then pulled through a fine comb again. This pulls out all of the short fibers and gives a smooth, long-fiber top.
Minimum order quantity 100 g. *
The fineness of the wool is given in micromillimeters (mic). The number refers to the diameter of each individual fiber. The smaller the number, the finer the wool.
