This wool is not suitable for felting.
Worsted wool is a smooth, long-fibre wool. Several work steps are necessary for their production. First the raw wool is carded. The fibers are loosened, oriented largely in parallel and impurities are combed out. Fleeces are created that are divided into strands. These strands with approx. 20 g/per meter are then pulled through a fine comb again. This pulls out all of the short fibers and gives a smooth, long-fiber top.
