Forest gifts

Against a light, delicately speckled background, an airy woodland world unfolds, full of little treasures and delightful discoveries. Kerstin Heß’s illustrations combine the abundance of the forest with a delicate, playful lightness. Small wreaths of berries, nuts and mushrooms alternate with birds, seed pods, delicate plants and red toadstools. The forest children carry their collected natural treasures gently through the scene, lending the design a loving, almost fairy-tale-like character. The warm shades of red, green and natural tones add cheerful accents and bring the many small motifs together to form a harmonious whole.
