Lac-Color
Lac-Color can be used to obtain shades such as carmine red, pink or brown. 50g tin
Required quantity ca.0,2-4,0% of the dyeing weight.
Required stain for wool and silk alum (ca.10%)
Cellulose substances ca.3% tannin or tannin light and then ca.10% alum stain
LAC-COLOR is a side stream of the stick lac production and is been produced from the secret of Keria Lacca insects. In Asia this product is widely used in the food industry. By variation of used mordant salts different brilliant shades from carmine-red to violet and anthracite with high fastnesses, especially on protein fibers, can be achieved.
