Dye plants and mordants can cause health problems if used incorrectly. Dye plants and mordants are not suitable for internal or external use on humans or animals.
Do not use dye pots, bowls, etc., for cooking or other purposes anymore.
When working with dye plants and mordants, make sure there is plenty of ventilation. Wear protective gear like safety goggles, a mask, and possibly gloves.
