Dye plants and mordants can cause health problems if used improperly. Dye plants and mordants are not suitable for internal or external use on humans or animals. Do not use dye pots, bowls, etc. for cooking or other purposes anymore.
Make sure there is enough ventilation when working with dye plants and mordants. Wear protective gear like safety glasses, a mask, and possibly gloves.
