In India, Ethiopia or Tibet, she captured complex and simple signs, playful shapes and shrill colors and gave them their own visual form. The design options are great: repeating, turning, mirroring, rotating letters, but also rhythm, contrast, color and line thickness are just a few of them. In addition to calligraphic techniques, examples from printmaking, textile printing, collage and digital processes will also be presented. The many works of art with beautiful photographs illustrate everything that can be created on writing trips – on paper, stone, fabric or ceramics.
